If you’re going to drink: drink with friends you know well. Never leave with a member of the opposite sex when drunk, it is a bad idea. If you’re from a decent family who expect you to behave yourself: you have a responsibility to keep.
Ivy League or not: If the school is an honorable institution; is balanced in its teachings, and you can honestly afford it then I say go. The advantage is both sad and of benefit. There is an unspoken truth about our educational system. The truth being that the more Ivey green you can get the better job you will have regardless of the education.
Thoughts & Experiences
There are two reasons why a student may end up oversees for schooling. First if your program has an oversees component and secondly if you choose to study abroad. The key to success here is to understand how a move weather short term or long will affect your life and your bank account.
Dorm Life: It is a good idea to keep your dorm life gender exclusive. This will allow both male and female to have a place to escape too after a full schedule of flirting thought out the day. Some schools take prided in shoving both genders together and argue the it is progressive while all the while stressing young students out.

The most important aspect of choosing a university it that all people are welcome. This sadly is not the case with most universities today. While all sport a great diversity statement the majority do discriminate and often. Most commonly, Christians, Military Veterans and Patriotic Americans are the recipients of bitter animosity from university faculty. Lizzarddawg, suggests investigating what a school really stands for prior to applying. Sadly the Federal Government is doing little to stop this discrimination.
